Why are we here as a local expression of the global church?
For Elim Oasis Church ‘Discipleship For Mission’ is the short version of our Mission Statement. We wish to make disciples of Jesus who are mentored and released into their calling and destiny. Disciples are made firstly to ‘know’ God and secondly ‘for’ something and we seek this to be ‘mission’, that is, carrying on the mission that Jesus started and handed over to his followers – disciples who see themselves as missionaries. The Holy Spirit partners with us and uses us in this process. What an honour and a privilege!
